Accommodation – Your Private Retreat by the Lake
Enjoy a two-night stay in a stylish twin villa at Tyven Resort, beautifully located on the shores of Lake Miekojärvi in the heart of Lapland’s unspoiled wilderness. Here, peace and privacy surround you, with nature right at your doorstep.

Horseback Riding – Experience Lapland with Our Ponies
Your riding holiday includes guided horseback experiences on two separate days, with a total of approximately 4 hours in the saddle.
Each ride is tailored to your wishes and riding experience. For example:
Day 1: A 1.5-hour scenic ride to a nearby fell, where you can admire sweeping views over forests and lakes.
Day 2: A longer adventure including a relaxing snack break in nature. The excursion lasts around 3.5 hours in total, with approximately 2.5 hours of riding.
The rides are suitable for riders who are confident handling a horse independently. The pace is always adjusted to suit the group, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable experience in the heart of Lapland.
Good to know: The weight limit depends on the pony and ranges from 60 to 95 kilograms. We are happy to advise you on this.
Price
The riding holiday is €600 per private package for two people (€300 per person).
The price includes (for two guests):
- Guided horseback riding on two days (total riding time approx. 4 hours)
- Trail snacks during the excursions
- 2 nights accommodation in a Tyven Resort villa (for example Fri–Sun)
- Bed linen
A booking fee of €50 per person is charged at the time of reservation. The booking fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation. The remaining balance will be invoiced approximately one month before the start of your holiday.
If the booking is made close to the arrival date, the full amount will be invoiced and payable at once.

Location
Takapalo Pony Farm is located in Ruuhijärvi, Pello, at Kallontie 2.
Tyven Resort is situated at Pakisjärventie 41, Pello. The distance between the two locations is approximately 40 km (about a 40-minute drive).
Please note that you will need your own car or pre-arranged transportation to reach the destinations. Transfers can be organized upon request — please ask for a quote. We cooperate with a trusted local transport provider.
