In Our Memories:
Uranus fra Nevala ”Unski”
Icelandic Horse, June 4, 2007 – October 2024
Even the greatest leaders leave us, and we must simply figure out how to carry on without them.
Pony info
Our ponies can carry roughly 60–95 kg, depending on the individual. Riding is a physical activity, so besides size, it also requires some fitness — for example, depending on the length of the ride, the terrain, and the pace. It can easily take you by surprise! 🤭 That’s why it’s a good idea to check in during the ride how things are going and how it feels. Since our service is very individualized, it’s easy to decide mid-ride to slow down for the rest of the journey.
Withers heights of our ponies range from 122–155 cm, and since they have round builds, even taller riders can often ride without wearing the pony out too quickly.
Always feel free to ask if you have any questions about these details!
